Training content

  • Gathering information: complete error messages, logs (journalctl, dmesg), context (version, distribution, hardware)

  • Formulating a search: keywords, Google syntax, exact errors, context

  • Using AI: paste error messages, describe context, ask for diagnostic leads

  • Interpreting answers: verify sources, test commands, adapt to your environment

  • Practical cases: crash, service won't start, disk full, slow network, CPU at 100%, permission error
